Raised in Buda, a little town just outside the music capitol of the world, Austin, Texas. He is ready to unleash his rock n roll style on the world, one electrifying song at a time.
He's got an old soul filled with rhythm, blues, and rockabilly tunes!
At a very young age he fell in love with the music and the style of the 50's era. He is heavily influenced by good ole 50's and 60's rock and roll. He enjoys writing and recording rockabilly style, 50's and 60's music. His live shows often include cover tunes from some of the best artist of that era; like Elvis, Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, Eddie Cochran, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, and the Stray Cats, to name a few.

At nine years old, he picked up a guitar and never put it down. By the time he was twelve he could be found on the sidewalks of Austin playing his music, rocking at the famed Giddy Ups, Freiheit Country Store, and has performed at the Buda Texas Birthday Bash, the Rock Port Festival, KZSM 104. 1 San Marcos Radio Krazy Zoo Music Fest, the main stage at the San Antonio Market Square 4th of July Party, and has become a fan favorite scoring a very popular repeat show, as well as various venues, restaurants, and private parties, all by age eighteen.
His unique smooth vocals and 50's vibe has thrilled audiences of all ages over the past nine years. Known as 'little Elvis' The 'Buda Kidd' and 'The Retro Cat' himself, John Michael has a loyal following. This Cat's outta the bag!
